Gompers Prep Academy has been on the road for two straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Bonsall Legionnaires at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gompers Prep Academy will be strutting in after a win while Bonsall will be coming in after a loss.
Gompers Prep Academy posted their closest victory yet this season on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against San Diego Academy and snuck past 32-30.
Nadia Mohamed was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamariyah Mccollough, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Bonsall, who are still winless after their 11th contest. Their rough 40-17 defeat to High Tech NC on Tuesday might stick with them for a while. Bonsall was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-6.
Gompers Prep Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-10. As for Bonsall, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.
