Softball Recap: Duluth Comes Up Short

Mountain View hit Duluth with a four-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 13-9 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Duluth now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Mountain View, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Duluth will venture away from home to face off against Parkview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Collins Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
