Basketball Recap: Coachella Valley Comes Up Short

Coachella Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stevenson Pirates.

Stevenson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Molly Mcafee, who posted 12 points and three steals. Sabrina Hardin was another key player, going 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points and eight rebounds.

Coachella Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Stevenson, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coachella Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-20 win against Banning on the 30th. As for Stevenson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-44 victory against Laguna Beach on the 30th.
