Appling County came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Therrell Panthers get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Appling County's win bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Therrell, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-12.
