Basketball Recap: Claire Roberts' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Biglerville over Bermudian Springs

Biglerville lost against Bermudian Springs back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Biglerville Canners came up short against the Bermudian Springs Eagles, falling 67-44. The Canners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Canners players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Claire Roberts, who went 5 for 11 on her way to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Hollabaugh, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 15 points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Even though they lost, Biglerville was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Biglerville's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Bermudian Springs, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Biglerville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-24 win against York County Tech on the 13th. Bermudian Springs has also already played their next game, a 55-23 victory against Littlestown on the 13th.
