Softball Recap: Monticello Comes Up Short

Monticello lost against Northeast on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Panthers fell 6-2 to the Rebels. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monticello's loss dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Northeast, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Monticello will be playing at home against Maquoketa at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Northeast has already played their next matchup (against Mid-Prairie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
