Volleyball Recap: Lund Takes Down Owyhee in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Lund had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Owyhee Braves 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Lund was led to victory by EVANOFF JAYDEN and TESSA HOOLEY. JAYDEN had 27 digs, while HOOLEY had 18 digs, six kills, and three aces. HOOLEY has been hot for a while, having posted three or more aces the last 11 times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Lund was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in 11 consecutive matches.

Lund's record now sits at 21-9. As for Owyhee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

Lund wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Wells on the 1st. Owyhee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
