Soccer Recap: Discovery Victorious

Discovery won the last time they faced Cherokee and things went their way on Tuesday too. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Discovery Titans who were credited with the win. The Discovery Titans got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Cherokee Warriors' one. Sergio Orellana had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Titans.

Discovery's record now sits at 2-3. As for Cherokee, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Coming up, Discovery will be playing at home against Central Gwinnett at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Discovery is facing Central Gwinnett at the right time seeing as Central Gwinnett is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Cherokee, they will head out to face off against Walton at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Cherokee's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
