Soccer Game Preview: Balboa vs. Lowell

Balboa hasn't had much luck against Lowell recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Balboa Buccaneers will host the Lowell Cardinals at 3:30 p.m. Lowell took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Balboa, who comes in off a win.

Balboa is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on The Academy - San Francisco with a sharp 9-2 victory on Friday. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Lowell fell victim to Urban and their airtight defense back in December of 2024. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Blues an easy 9-0 win.

The victory made it two in a row for Balboa and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Lowell, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
