Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Capistrano Valley Christian walked away with it. They blew past the Los Amigos Lobos 4-1 on Wednesday. Considering the Eagles have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Los Amigos with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Malea Salcedo, Ila Allred, Kenna Moran, and Makenzie Carreon.

The win was the fifth in a row for Capistrano Valley Christian, bringing their record for this year to 12-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 39 goals over those five matches. As for Los Amigos, their loss dropped their record down to 13-2.

Looking ahead, Capistrano Valley Christian will take on Godinez Fundamental at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Capistrano Valley Christian's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last five games. Los Amigos does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
