After losing to Skiatook the last time they met, Fort Gibson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Tigers walked away with an 8-3 win over the Bulldogs on Friday.

Fort Gibson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Skiatook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Fort Gibson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Wagoner on the 22nd. As for Skiatook, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-4 loss against Dewey on the 19th.
