Softball Recap: Jenkins Takes a Loss

Jenkins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 17-3 to the East Hall Vikings.

Jenkins saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ma'Kaiyah Gray, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Gray is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Another was Jayda Groover, who earned one run and three stolen bases.

Jenkins' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Jenkins will face off against Brunswick at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Hall, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Banks County on the 12th.
