Creekside Christian Academy had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning on Friday as they made off with a 9-3 win. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Mccadden, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Beau Fleming, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and four RBI.

Creekside Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Lanier Christian Academy, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Creekside Christian Academy beat the Lightning by a score of 10-0 later that day.
