Baseball Recap: Caledonia Beats Chatfield for Their Second Straight Win

Caledonia lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Chatfield, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's matchup. The Warriors never let the Gophers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Will Allen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over 5.1 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jacob Klug was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Jack Schmitz was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Caledonia's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Chatfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.

As of now, neither Caledonia nor the Gophers have any future games scheduled.
