Softball Recap: Pella Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Pella's offense. They came up short against the Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs on Monday, falling 17-0. The Dutch haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Pella's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-2.

Pella has already played their next contest (against Knoxville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dallas Center-Grimes, they will venture away from home to take on Oskaloosa at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.74 runs per game on average), something the Mustangs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
