After only two runs in their last matchup, Florence made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mitchell on Tuesday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Marauders with a sharp 16-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Addison Dalton made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September.
