Soccer Recap: Stone Mountain Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

Stone Mountain won the last time they faced M.L. King and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pirates blew past the Lions 5-2. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

Stone Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 34 goals over those nine games. As for M.L. King, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Stone Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for M.L. King, a feisty cat fight will be fought as M.L. King face off against Stephenson at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th.
