Flintridge Prep has gone 10-0 against Polytechnic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Flintridge Prep Wolves will face off against the Polytechnic Panthers at 5:30 p.m. Flintridge Prep will be strutting in after a win while Polytechnic will be coming in after a loss.

Flintridge Prep saw some tournament action on Monday. They came out on top against Sierra Pacific by a score of 55-47.

Meanwhile, Polytechnic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-34 heartbreaker at the hands of Holy Martyrs Armenian. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Polytechnic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Areni Ohanian posted 11 points along with eight boards and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Scholze, who had nine points and three steals.

Even though they lost, Polytechnic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 14 consecutive games.

Flintridge Prep's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Polytechnic, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Everything came up roses for Flintridge Prep against Polytechnic in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 50-8 win. In that matchup, Flintridge Prep amassed a halftime lead of 27-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
