Baseball Recap: Lancaster Takes a Loss

Lancaster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverdale Chieftains. The Flying Arrows were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chieftains apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Lancaster's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Riverdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Lancaster and Riverdale will both be playing Highland the next time they take the field. The Flying Arrows will host the Cardinals at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Chieftains will play them later in the day, at 1:30 p.m.
