White Pine waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Awaken Christian Lions by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Friday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: White Pine took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-12.

White Pine's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Awaken Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
