Soccer Recap: Aragon Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Aragon hadn't done well against Sequoia recently (they were 0-7-2 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Aragon Dons skirted past the Sequoia Ravens 1-0. The Dons' winning goal came courtesy of Sierra Troy.

Aragon's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matches. As for Sequoia, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aragon will venture away from home to face off against Burlingame at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aragon's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sequoia, they will head out on the road to take on Woodside at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
