Franklin won the last time they faced Oil City and things went their way on Thursday too. Everything went the Franklin Knights' way against the Oil City Oilers as the Franklin Knights made off with a 55-32 victory. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 254th, while the Oilers are ranked 578th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katie Boal, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Boal has scored at least a third of Franklin's points. Another player making a difference was Jadyn Blum, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Franklin has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Oil City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
