Browne won the last time they faced Maryvale, and Miranda Inzunza did her part to make sure it happened again. The Browne Bruins managed a 24-20 victory over the Maryvale Panthers on Wednesday with plenty of help from Inzunza, who posted nine points along with eight boards and seven steals. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (two).

Despite the loss, Maryvale saw an underclassman step up: freshman Aniya Taylor dropped a double-double with ten rebounds and ten steals. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Angelina Deross, who put up two points.

Browne's win bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Maryvale, they are on a 24-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-23.

As of now, neither Browne nor Maryvale have any future games scheduled.
