Soccer Recap: College Park Takes a Loss

College Park lost against Acalanes back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The College Park Falcons fell just short of the Acalanes Dons by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Dons are ranked 146th).

College Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-8. As for Acalanes, their win bumped their record up to 7-3-5.

Coming up, College Park will head out on the road to square off against Alhambra at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Acalanes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northgate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
