Basketball Recap: High Tech CV Takes a Loss

High Tech CV was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 35-27 to the Mountain Empire Redhawks. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mountain Empire's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carli McGhee led the charge by putting up 16 points. Bibi Caceres was another key player, posting 11 points.

High Tech CV's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Mountain Empire, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

While High Tech CV had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
