Claremont is 7-0-1 against Walnut since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Claremont Wolfpack will challenge the Walnut Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. Claremont will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.

Last Thursday, Claremont sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Diamond Bar. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Brahmas are ranked 666th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Claremont hit Diamond Bar with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophia Sink (2), Zenani Guannu, Laila Pacheco, and Mia Flores.

Meanwhile, Walnut kept a clean sheet against Glendora on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tartans.

Claremont's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-4. As for Walnut, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 10-6-1.
