Softball Recap: John Milledge Academy Takes a Loss

John Milledge Academy was the 9-1 winner over Bethlehem Christian Academy when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 7-4 to the Knights on Saturday.

Kinley McLemore was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two RBI. Izzy Santarone was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

John Milledge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, John Milledge Academy will challenge First Presbyterian Day at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Bethlehem Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Apalachee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
