Soccer Game Preview: Oakland vs. Bishop O'Dowd

The Oakland Wildcats will head out to take on the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Oakland came up short against Encinal on Tuesday, falling 11-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bishop O'Dowd on the other hand, have had a phenomenal season so far and haven't lost a game yet. Everything went their way against Oakland Tech on Wednesday as Bishop O'Dowd made off with a 7-1 win. Considering the Dragons have won four games by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Oakland Tech with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chloe Keating (4), Ellia Appelbaum, Ana Pintard, and Ava Johnson.

Bishop O'Dowd's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Oakland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
