Marshall is 10-0 against Lincoln since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Marshall Barristers are taking a road trip to challenge the Lincoln Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Marshall has three straight wins, Lincoln has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Wednesday, Marshall made easy work of Wilson and carried off a 5-1 victory. Considering the Barristers have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lincoln faced off against Franklin on Wednesday. Lincoln fell just short of Franklin by a score of 1-0. The shutout was out of character for the Tigers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in December of 2024.

Marshall pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-1.

Marshall took their victory against Lincoln when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Marshall since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
