Coloma is 6-1 against Lawton since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Comets will take on the Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Berrien Springs hit Coloma with a five-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets fell just short of the Shamrocks by a score of 6-5.

Meanwhile, Lawton started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Marcellus. They lost 14-4 to the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Coloma has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-15 record this season. As for Lawton, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Coloma came out on top in a nail-biter against Lawton in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, sneaking past 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
