Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carson). They really took it to the Rancho Dominguez Lobos for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-2 win. Given the Colts' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 546th, while the Lobos are ranked 1278th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Carson, bringing their record for this year to 14-10. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.8 points per game. As for Rancho Dominguez, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
