Football Recap: Bishop Hartley Comes Up Short

Bishop Hartley lost against Ursuline back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks took a blow against the Fighting Irish, falling 34-7. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Fighting Irish are ranked 12th).

Ursuline found their leader in sophomore George Camuso, who threw for 102 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 79 yards on only ten carries.

Bishop Hartley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ursuline, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Hartley will take on Walnut Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ursuline, they will welcome Farrell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
