Volleyball Recap: UMS-Wright Prep Takes a Loss

UMS-Wright Prep lost against McGill-Toolen back in October of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Payton Mcclarren was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last nine matches.

UMS-Wright Prep's loss dropped their record down to 20-12. As for McGill-Toolen, the victory was the 30th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 36-2.

Coming up, UMS-Wright Prep will host Williamson at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McGill-Toolen, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Saraland on the 11th.
