Football Game Preview: Kingsley-Pierson Panthers vs. West Bend-Mallard Wolverines

The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers will take on the West Bend-Mallard Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kingsley-Pierson has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 217 points over their last three contests.

Kingsley-Pierson will bounce into Friday's game after beating Newell-Fonda, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 79-26 victory over the Mustangs. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Mustangs are ranked 55th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 58 points the game before, West Bend-Mallard was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by Riceville and fell 52-12.

Kingsley-Pierson's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for West Bend-Mallard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
