Rosehill Christian never got on the board in their matchup two weeks ago, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Covenant Christian on Friday. They blew past the Cougars 42-14. With the Eagles ahead 28-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Rosehill Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Matthew Peyton out in front who threw for 213 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Peyton's passing game has become a key predictor of the Eagles' success: the team is 3-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. A healthy portion of Peyton's aerial production (81 yards to be exact) went to Caleb Davila, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
