Soccer Recap: LaGrange Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact LaGrange can now relate to. They fell just short of the Oconee County Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that LaGrange have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for LaGrange and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Oconee County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

LaGrange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oconee County, they will challenge Mary Persons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mary Persons will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Oconee County surely won't give up without a fight.
