            Softball Recap: Dawson County Tigers vs. Chestatee War Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Dawson County waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Chestatee War Eagles  a   15-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  19-2  back in August.
 Carley Etta Grizzle made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Grizzle was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI. Those  two  RBI gave  her a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  Sadie Dotson and  Bryce Greenwood did most of the damage at the plate:  Dotson  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI, while  Greenwood  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  Greenwood a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Destiny McBrayer, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Dawson County  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  hit total in three consecutive  contests.
Dawson County's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Chestatee,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-7.
 Dawson County has already played their next match,  a  4-1  victory against White County on the 4th. As for Chestatee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  22-0  loss against Lumpkin County on the 4th.
