Basketball Game Preview: Central Bucks South Titans vs. Wildwood Catholic Crusaders

The Central Bucks South Titans and the Wildwood Catholic Crusaders will round out the year against one another at at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Saturday, Central Bucks South came up short against Downingtown East and fell 51-40. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Cougars are ranked 65th).

Meanwhile, Wildwood Catholic put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Lower Moreland 60-36. That looming 60-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Crusaders yet this season.

Central Bucks South better focus on containing Lola McGonigle and Dani Daley as the pair were huge in Wildwood Catholic's win. McGonigle posted 22 points, while Daley put up 18 points. McGonigle's afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Lily King was another key player, putting up seven points.

Wildwood Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Central Bucks South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
