Basketball Recap: Prep Charter Takes a Loss

Prep Charter lost against Philadelphia High School for Girls back in January of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the GAZELLE an easy 51-31 victory.

Prep Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Philadelphia High School for Girls, they moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Prep Charter and Philadelphia High School for Girls will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Huskies see the court they'll take on West Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on January 5, 2026. As for Philadelphia High School for Girls, their break will end when they face Science Leadership Academy at 3:15 p.m. on January 5, 2026.
