Trinity Christian lost to Troup County back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Trinity Christian who was credited with the victory. Trinity Christian got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Troup County Tigers' three. The win made it back-to-back victories for Trinity Christian.

Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Troup County, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Trinity Christian challenge Fayette County at 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Troup County, they will square off against LaGrange at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. LaGrange will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Troup County surely won't give up without a fight.
