Righetti is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a blow against Sierra Pacific, falling 60-17. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 80th).

Meanwhile, Orcutt Academy entered their contest against St. Joseph on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Orcutt Academy came up short against St. Joseph, falling 80-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Spartans have suffered since January 26, 2024.

Righetti will have to keep a close watch on Elizabeth Johnson and Rylie Allen, a pair of players who had a big impact on Orcutt Academy's prior game. Johnson dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds, while Allen posted eight points and 12 boards. Johnson's evening made it 23 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Righetti's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Orcutt Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-3.
