Softball Recap: Aplington-Parkersburg Takes a Loss

Aplington-Parkersburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to the Denver Cyclones. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Aplington-Parkersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Denver, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

While Aplington-Parkersburg had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
