Baseball Recap: Harvester Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Hawks on Monday. Harvester Christian Academy fell 4-1 to Heritage. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Heritage this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on April 1st.

Harvester Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greg Stoeckig, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Stoeckig has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.

Harvester Christian Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7. As for Heritage, their record is now 7-13.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Harvester Christian Academy will challenge New Creation Christian Academy on Friday. The Hawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Crusaders have averaged an impressive 8.7 runs per game this season. As for Heritage, they will host Rock Springs Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 29th.
