Softball Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manchester can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 12-0 to the Wheeler County Bulldogs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manchester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Wheeler County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

While Manchester had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
