Basketball Recap: Fulton Takes a Loss

Fulton lost against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Fulton Jaguars lost to the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers on the road by a 46-28 margin. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lara Ledesma continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, putting up 29 points. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Ledesma has scored at least a third of Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Orantes, who posted eight points.

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Fulton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 38-22 loss against Vaughn on the 27th. Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences has also already played their next contest, an 80-12 defeat against Northridge Academy on the 27th.
