Mt. Pleasant has gone 8-2 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the Demons at 5:00 p.m. Mt. Pleasant's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Mt. Pleasant turned things around against Fairfield on Monday. Neither they nor the Trojans could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Mt. Pleasant's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous six matchup, Washington brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They came out on top against WACO by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. Considering Washington's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Washington's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-12. Mt. Pleasant's draw makes their record 9-6-1 this season.

Mt. Pleasant took their victory against Washington in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
