Soccer Recap: Wilson Gets the Win

Wilson won the last time they faced West Covina and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wilson Wildcats won by a goal and slipped past the West Covina Bulldogs 2-1. The Wildcats' winning goal came courtesy of Melissa Valencia.

Wilson pushed their record up to 9-7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three games. As for West Covina, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-7-3.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Northview on the 16th. As for West Covina, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Rowland on the 16th.
