Softball Recap: Whitewater Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Whitewater lost against Mary Persons back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1.

Whitewater's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Mary Persons, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Whitewater is set to face off against their familiar foe Troup County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mary Persons will challenge rival Fayette County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
