Lassiter had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt East Forsyth on Saturday. The Trojans put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 10-2 win. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by seven runs or more this season.

Lassiter's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for East Forsyth, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Lassiter has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Walton on the 27th. As for East Forsyth, they will face off against Cedar Shoals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
