Softball Recap: Monday's Defeat Ends Mangum's Winning Streak

Mangum fell victim to Canute and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mangum got a good showing from Jaycee McFerrin, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. McFerrin has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
